Social Media Coordinator and Strategist

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator and Strategist to join a fast‑paced, fully remote digital media team. Based in Turkey, you will manage daily content flow across major platforms, ensuring posts are timely, engaging and aligned with brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and publish daily content on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, LinkedIn and YouTube, including breaking news, evergreen and high‑performing posts.
• Coordinate with social media and editorial teams to guarantee accurate and consistent publishing.
• Adapt publishing plans quickly in response to breaking news, trending topics or platform changes.
• Write concise, engaging captions and copy that reflect the brand voice.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to improve content strategy and audience reach.
• Learn and use scheduling, media library and content management tools for tagging and organizing assets.
• Identify opportunities to optimise publishing practices and support broader social media strategy.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm for major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple publishing tasks in a fast‑moving environment while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written communication and ability to craft concise social copy.
• Quick learner of new software, scheduling platforms and evolving social media practices.
• Flexibility to adjust working hours for breaking news or special events.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a fully remote setting.
