Social Media & Graphic Design Intern

About the role

Karataş Plastik, a manufacturer of corporate packaging such as paper cups, is looking for a social media and graphic design intern in Kocaeli. The intern supports the company's digital communication processes, develops creative content ideas and produces visual material for its social media channels.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management and content planning of the company's social media accounts
• Develop creative, trend-aligned content ideas for social media
• Prepare posts, stories and short videos (Reels/Shorts)
• Create brand-aligned, print-ready surface designs for packaging products using Adobe software and Canva
• Propose creative concepts to increase the brand's visibility online and on physical products

Required profile

• Undergraduate student in a relevant field such as graphic design, visual communication, new media or communication
• University-mandated internship with insurance premiums covered by the university
• Interest in social media platforms and digital trends, including algorithm updates
• Creative, good communicator, responsible, organized and team-oriented

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of pre-press, scaling and die-cut layouts, or willingness to learn them
• Adobe software (Illustrator and Photoshop) or strong motivation to learn it quickly
• Use of Canva and similar design tools
