Social Media Manager

About the role

Lovie helps founders set up and run their companies, from company formation and cap tables to fundraising and finance tools. It is building a small growth team around founder-led content and needs one person to run its social channels, design for them and engage daily. The role is fully remote, working with the Head of Growth, the content strategist and the videographer.

Key responsibilities

• Publish by hand on X, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, covering product updates, news, announcements and partnerships
• Run YouTube: upload videos, make thumbnails and manage comments
• Engage daily with thoughtful, specific comments on posts by founders, investors and creators, and draft comment ideas for the founder
• Reply to comments, mentions and DMs within the first hour
• Build and run comment-to-DM automations (e.g. ManyChat) so commenters get the link or resource they asked for
• Design carousels, announcement graphics, thumbnails and covers in the brand style
• Send a weekly report on what was published, engagement, YouTube views and what worked

Required profile

• 2+ years running social accounts for a brand or founder, with results you can show; YouTube experience is a big plus
• Fluent written English, as every post and comment is in English
• Genuine enjoyment of commenting and starting conversations
• Interest in startups, tech or B2B products; startup, SaaS or fintech experience is a plus

Required skills

• Design portfolio with carousels, social graphics and thumbnails; Figma preferred, Canva acceptable if the work is strong
• Hands-on experience with comment-to-DM tools such as ManyChat

• A paid trial for shortlisted candidates: adapt a founder video for Shorts, Instagram, X and LinkedIn, design a carousel, set up a comment-to-DM flow and write 10 comments, paid $200-$400
