Software Engineering Manager – Platform & Dialog Banking Applications

About the role

Yapı Kredi Technology is seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of platform services and AI‑enabled dialog banking applications. You will guide a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality micro‑services and chatbot solutions for banking channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain domain‑specific products, including platform micro‑services (Aracım+, Evim+, Seyahatim+) and AI‑integrated chatbots across mobile, web, and WhatsApp channels.
• Prioritize, monitor, and manage project outcomes with detailed planning and sound decision‑making.
• Mentor team members, balance workloads, and promote knowledge sharing.
• Review and adjust project and epic work plans to meet evolving requirements.
• Analyze and improve existing workflows for greater efficiency.
• Guide engineers in selecting appropriate technical solutions, coding techniques, and tools.
• Ensure consistent application of Scrum and Agile practices across the team.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, professional development, and performance coaching.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in software development, with a strong track record of delivering complex products.
• Experience leading engineering teams in an Agile environment.
• Excellent coaching, listening, and influencing abilities.
• Highly motivated, result‑oriented, and open‑minded to new technologies.
