Solutions Engineer – AI Security

About the role

TrendAI, the global AI security leader and enterprise business unit of Trend Micro, is looking for a Solutions Engineer based in Turkey. The role acts as the technical bridge between Sales Representatives and their pre-sales customers, guiding them in selecting and deploying Trend Micro Next-Gen security solutions. It is a trusted advisor role that takes joint ownership of customer relationships with the sales team and helps shape customers' technical strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor across the customer journey, from discovery and evaluation to onboarding, adoption and customer success.
• Understand customer security challenges and design practical, scalable solutions.
• Partner with Sales, using storytelling, demonstrations and presentations to communicate security value and win opportunities.
• Lead technical workshops, PoCs/PoVs, solution validations and customer evaluations.
• Build, train and enable channel partners such as MSSPs, SOC/MDR providers and system integrators.
• Work with Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering and Technical Support to share customer feedback and ensure strong product knowledge.
• Deliver customer and partner training and represent TrendAI at webinars, workshops, conferences and industry events.
• Contribute to reusable solution architectures, best practices, competitive insights and product strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, solutions engineering, consulting or technical presales, with strong experience in enterprise security environments.
• Proven experience in customer-facing solution design, technical demonstrations, workshops and PoCs/PoVs.
• Excellent English communication, presentation and public-speaking skills, able to explain complex security topics to technical and executive audiences.
• Strong customer focus, problem-solving mindset and willingness to keep learning.

Required skills

• Cloud Security, Zero Trust, SASE/SSE, XDR, SIEM/SOAR, EDR/NDR, Identity Security and CNAPP.
• Strong understanding of AWS and Microsoft Azure; Microsoft 365 and Google Cloud knowledge is an advantage.
• Networking, security fundamentals, APIs, integrations and cloud-native technologies.
• Awareness of AI/GenAI security, LLM/Agentic AI security and emerging threats.
• Cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001 and OWASP; NIS2 awareness is an advantage.
