Strategic Solution Sales Executive (Cybersecurity)

About the role

OpenText is seeking a Strategic Solution Sales Executive to drive growth across its solution portfolio within strategic enterprise accounts. The role involves partnering with Client Executives and cross‑functional teams to create, shape, and win high‑value opportunities that align with client priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop solution‑specific opportunities that support broader account strategies and business objectives.
• Lead solution strategy throughout the sales cycle, guiding opportunity qualification, competitive positioning, and deal execution.
• Maintain strong pipeline discipline, forecast accuracy, and drive bookings growth.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, providing market insight, field intelligence, and influencing solution strategy for complex, multi‑solution deals.

Required profile

• Proven success in enterprise software, cloud, SaaS, cybersecurity, or information‑management sales.
• Experience leading complex solution‑based sales cycles within large enterprise accounts.
• Ability to build credibility with executive and technical stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen to translate technology capabilities into business outcomes.
