Supply Chain Associate

About the role

The Supply Chain Associate supports the National Supply Chain Officer in Ankara and works closely with the Senior Supply Chain Associate in Gaziantep to manage procurement, vendor relations, and logistics operations. The role ensures smooth acquisition of goods and services while maintaining compliance with internal procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and consolidate procurement requisition forms according to the Purchase Authorisation Matrix.
• Prepare tender documents, solicit bids, conduct bid analysis, and support evaluation processes.
• Issue purchase orders and contracts, coordinate authorisations, and monitor delivery timelines.
• Validate delivery notes, review vendor invoices, and coordinate timely payments with Finance.
• Maintain physical and electronic procurement records in line with IOM procedures.
• Generate periodic reports, conduct market surveys, and assist in supplier evaluation.
• Manage office supplies, utilities invoices, and property/asset logistics.
• Coordinate fleet operations, including vehicle scheduling and maintenance.
• Provide guidance and training to junior SCM staff and support their development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field with at least three years of relevant experience, OR a high‑school diploma with five years of relevant experience.
• Certification in Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
