Tax Associate Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Associate Manager to join the Controlling team at Kraft Heinz Turkey. Based in Istanbul, you will work closely with the Head of Financial Controlling and support the finance function in meeting all tax obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee tax compliance obligations, including CIT, VAT, WHT and stamp duty declarations and filings.
• Monitor changes in local and international tax legislation, assess risks and communicate resolutions to finance teams.
• Manage external and internal tax audits and coordinate audit activities.
• Optimize tax compliance procedures to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with the finance team on tax queries, monthly closing and quarterly/year‑end tax provisions.
• Provide local tax expertise to business units and ensure adherence to Turkish tax requirements.
• Handle E‑ledger submissions, VAT refund processes and Investment Incentive Certificate follow‑up.
• Prepare Transfer Pricing reports in coordination with local and global tax advisors.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years tax audit experience in a Big 4 firm.
• 7 + years tax and accounting experience in large multinational corporations or reputable audit firms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Business with a focus on Accounting/Tax.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish tax legislation and practice.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA.
• Experience in the food manufacturing or agro‑trading industry is preferred.
