Teamlead Application (Beverage & Food)

About the role

Döhler Turkey is looking for a Teamlead Application (Beverage & Food) for its Maltepe office in Istanbul. The role leads and develops the application team and covers the development and maintenance of beverage and food recipes for customer and innovation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the application team, ensuring motivation, performance and technical capability.
• Develop and maintain beverage or food recipes for customer and innovation projects.
• Manage the creation, approval and accuracy of recipes and process parameters in SAP.
• Oversee customer sample production, coordinate with the Sampling Lab and Pilot Plant, and ensure lab trials are executed correctly and tastings are organized.
• Plan and manage human, material and financial resources within the budget.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal product development regulations.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives, support shelf-life and product-specific tests, and keep technical data accurate in digital systems.
• Collaborate with commercial and supply chain teams, take part in customer meetings and production trials, and lead projects in line with strategic goals.
• Optimize the recipe portfolio for cost, resource efficiency and product quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of laboratory experience (food and beverage experience preferred).
• At least 2 years of team management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English, analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to take initiative and responsibility.

Required skills

• Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
