Technical Post-Sales Support Specialist

About the role

TD SYNNEX is hiring a technical post-sales support specialist who provides on-site and remote support for customers and installs and configures a broad range of products at an intermediate level. The role includes integrating systems into the customer environment, monitoring performance, handling customer queries and call-outs, managing returned parts, and creating written and verbal documentation. After-hours work and on-site presence are required.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of small-to-medium customer issues reported via calls and autosupport messages, following the SLA and providing field and remote support.
• Monitor systems to keep them running consistently and inform customers proactively of potential risks so business-critical applications stay secure.
• Research, diagnose and troubleshoot customer issues, escalate unresolved ones to senior TSEs or vendors, and give prompt, accurate feedback.
• Install and physically deploy products at customer sites and replace parts.
• Manage the RMA process: follow up with the vendor, define and take the parts and contacts, and send them to the vendor.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and handle important details accurately and efficiently.
• Clear communication in English and another local/regional language, and ability to write and present formally.
• Strong organisation and time management, able to work under pressure and keep confidential information safe.
• Adaptable to change, able to learn new systems quickly, and able to build effective working relationships.
