Technical Services Specialist / Electrical Engineer

About the role

Arvato, a Bertelsmann subsidiary and global service provider in e-commerce and supply chain management, is looking for an experienced Technical Services Specialist / Electrical Engineer. The role ensures the reliable and efficient operation of its facilities, oversees maintenance and technical services, resolves technical issues, drives continuous improvement and coordinates the Technical Services field team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate daily technical failures, preventive maintenance and planned maintenance across facilities
• Resolve technical issues promptly and carry out root cause analyses to prevent recurring failures
• Identify and follow up on the resources and technical requirements needed for operations
• Prepare and maintain maintenance plans, procedures, work instructions and technical training materials
• Prepare maintenance reports and record all maintenance and repair activities in the relevant systems
• Maintain technical documentation for planned and ongoing projects
• Manage and coordinate the Technical Services field team, improving its efficiency, technical capabilities and professional development

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• High Voltage Facility Operation Responsibility Certificate preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in technical services, facility management, maintenance or field operations
• Previous experience managing teams and field operations
• Valid Class B driving licence and actively driving; military service completed for male candidates
• Residing in or willing to live on the Asian side of Istanbul or in the Gebze, Darıca or Çayırova area

Required skills

• Knowledge of electrical systems, distribution panels, power factor correction systems, CCTV and fire detection systems
• Experience with site surveys, quantity take-offs, progress payments and contractor management
• Good command of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
• Strong reading, analysis and implementation of technical drawings, planning, reporting and coordination skills
