Waiter / Waitress – Guest Service Role

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Waiter/Waitress to deliver exceptional guest service in a hospitality environment. The successful candidate will ensure a warm welcome, high‑quality service, and smooth restaurant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests according to outlet standards and service sequence.
• Handle guest complaints and inquiries courteously, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
• Maintain high standards of quality, speed of service, and personal hygiene.
• Prepare the outlet for operation, including mise‑en‑place, table setting, and cleaning.
• Communicate dietary requirements, allergies, and special requests to the team leader.
• Record all food and beverage orders accurately using the Micros POS terminal.
• Adapt to special preparation methods and ingredient requests from guests.
• Clear tables, transport dirty dishes, and support back‑of‑house organization when needed.
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned, including station upkeep.
• Respond to changes in restaurant function and collaborate with other departments.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attend all training sessions.
