Waiter/Waitress – Soho House Istanbul

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Cecconi's within Soho House Istanbul. The role involves delivering high‑quality service to guests while maintaining a smooth and efficient dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Inform guests about daily specials and menu changes.
• Suggest food and beverage options and actively up‑sell.
• Take orders using order‑taking pads and repeat them back for accuracy.
• Enter orders into the Micros POS system.
• Maintain Mise‑en‑Place and follow duty check‑lists.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as directed.
• Cover absent staff and assist other restaurant areas when needed.
• Coordinate with bar, kitchen and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest queries, additional requests, and allergy procedures promptly.
• Follow grooming standards, cash‑out procedures, and proper shift handover.

Required profile

• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple requests.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Strong service knowledge and guest‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Experience using the Micros system.
