Workplace Technology Specialist II

About the role

The Workplace Technology Specialist II is a senior technical specialist responsible for delivering advanced workplace technology support and serving as an escalation point for complex workforce technology issues across ICANN offices and events.

Key responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for high‑impact incidents, troubleshooting endpoint, collaboration, application and connectivity problems.
• Provide executive and Board‑level support, both remotely and on‑site, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Administer enterprise endpoint management platforms, device lifecycle programs, OS upgrades, hardware refreshes and compliance.
• Support Apple‑focused environments (macOS, iOS, iPadOS) and maintain security posture.
• Manage Microsoft 365 suite, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Zoom, Adobe Acrobat and AI‑enabled productivity tools.
• Lead technical aspects of conference‑room, AV, video‑conferencing, room‑scheduling and digital‑display solutions.
• Participate in pilots, rollouts and adoption initiatives for new workplace technologies.

Required profile

• Senior technical specialist with proven experience in enterprise endpoint management and collaboration platforms.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to lead resolution of complex incidents.
• Technical mentor and subject‑matter expert within a workplace technology services team.
