About the role
İNDİGO, a PropTech startup offering end-to-end property management and marketing for short-term rentals, is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Istanbul. This is a full-time, on-site position suitable for professionals wanting to grow their career in finance; it is not a senior-level role.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions and keep accurate records
- Prepare financial statements and reports in line with company standards
- Handle payroll and ensure compliance with local tax regulations
- Analyze financial data to support decisions and planning
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Work with the finance team to deliver timely and reliable reporting
Required profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Arabic and English; Turkish is a plus
Required skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- MS Office tools
