Applications Development Specialist (Salesforce Admin)

About the role

IQVIA is seeking an Applications Development Specialist with Salesforce Administrator expertise to support its AppExchange development landscape. The role involves managing multiple Salesforce orgs, integrations, and deployment pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and support the end‑to‑end AppExchange development landscape.
• Configure and automate Salesforce DX scratch org creation and CI/CD pipelines using Git.
• Create and maintain orgs for development, testing, staging, demos, marketing, and distribution.
• Manage user provisioning, de‑provisioning, and backups across orgs.
• Coordinate integrations with external applications via MuleSoft and assist in code promotion across environments.
• Perform deployments, post‑deployment activities, and resolve issues with product development teams.
• Support data import/export and maintain backups of key orgs.

Required profile

• Certified Salesforce Administrator with proven AppExchange development support.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com design, logic rules, and configuration changes.
• Business‑minded, highly analytical with deep technical Salesforce background.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment with aggressive timelines.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Self‑motivated, quick learner with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
