Software Development Analyst (Salesforce Developer)

About the role

IQVIA is seeking a Software Development Analyst with a focus on Salesforce development to join its Technology Services team in Istanbul. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting scalable applications on the Force.com platform while collaborating with clients to deliver tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze client requirements, contributing to solution design and implementation.
• Develop, test, and maintain applications on Salesforce (Force.com, Lightning) using Apex and related tools.
• Support continuous improvement by evaluating alternative technologies and presenting architectural recommendations.
• Provide effort estimations, create documentation, and validate work of other teams when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
• 2+ years experience developing on Force.com Lightning.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and improve technical excellence.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce platform, Apex, and release management.
• Experience with source control (Git) and branch‑based deployment.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and issue management.
• Programming experience in C# or Java.
• Familiarity with front‑end technologies such as Ajax, jQuery, CSS.
• Understanding of HTTP, Web Services, WCF, Oracle or SQL Server.
• Trailhead certification (preferred).
