Area Sales Manager

About the role

Puratos is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead regional sales activities in Istanbul, Turkey. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributors and large customers, and ensuring targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Organise regional sales activities, manage the sales team and distributor/dealer network.
• Monitor distributor stock levels, ensure accurate month‑end closing and share stock information with the Regional Sales Manager.
• Develop and execute plans to achieve regional sales targets.
• Collect payments for sold products in line with company policy.
• Manage large customers and ensure distributor targets are achieved.
• Coach and train distributor sales teams to meet business goals.
• Provide three‑month sales forecasts to the Regional Sales Manager each month.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in customer and distributor management within multinational organisations.
• Strong analytical abilities to improve sales efficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team‑player attitude.
• Business‑level English proficiency and willingness to travel.
