Trade Marketing SPM Channel Manager

About the role

Ferrero is seeking a Trade Marketing SPM (Supermarkets) Channel Development Manager to drive sustainable growth within the supermarket channel. Based in Istanbul, you will report to the Trade Marketing Channel & Category Development Manager and work closely with customers and cross‑functional teams to turn insights into action.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of trade marketing strategies across assigned channels, aligning with the Company Plan and acting as the liaison between Sales and Marketing.
• Develop action plans to achieve channel‑specific objectives and support Sales in contract negotiations with data‑driven selling arguments.
• Contribute to the end‑to‑end customer offer process, ensuring coherence with commercial guidelines and providing recommendations from planning through implementation.
• Foster strategic partnerships, develop Joint Business Plans, and deliver tailored solutions aligned with customer strategies.
• Monitor channel and customer performance through sell‑in, sell‑out, and market analysis, identifying opportunities, risks, and improvement areas.
• Analyze category and customer performance, define KPIs, and share business targets with Sales teams to ensure alignment and achievement.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to enhance execution excellence and maximize trade investment effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 8+ years of experience in Trade Marketing, Key Account Management, SPM, or related commercial roles.
• Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical capabilities with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English and Turkish, with strong written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Experience with Nielsen and other market intelligence tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
