Budget and Reporting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Budget and Reporting Specialist to join our fast‑paced team at Hesap, Turkey’s AI‑powered financial product comparison platform. You will lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes, delivering actionable insights that support strategic planning and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and coordination of annual budgeting, periodic forecasting and long‑term planning.
• Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual results against budget and forecast figures and provide insights on key deviations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports and present financial results clearly.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure effective coordination throughout budgeting and reporting cycles.
• Drive standardisation, improvement and digitalisation of reporting processes.
• Prepare and consolidate financial statements in compliance with IFRS/TMS.
• Manage group‑wide budgeting, long‑term forecasting and consolidated reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting and reporting; accounting background preferred.
• Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS/TMS).
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and a results‑oriented mindset.
