Business Human Resources Specialist

About the role

AbbVie is looking for a Business Human Resources (BHR) Specialist to join its HR team in Turkey. Reporting to the HR Director, the specialist partners with leaders on day-to-day people matters and supports the business with practical HR solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on day-to-day people topics, translating business needs into practical HR solutions.
• Oversee the recruitment process run by the Talent Acquisition Team and coordinate onboarding.
• Coordinate local and global talent, learning and development initiatives and respond to business capability needs.
• Support performance, talent and succession processes through data, insights, manager guidance and disciplined follow-up.
• Contribute to engagement, culture and organizational effectiveness actions that strengthen leadership and employee experience.
• Prepare people metrics, pulse employee surveys and executive-ready reports to support evidence-based decisions.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies, confidentiality, controls and compliance with local requirements.
• Identify process improvements that simplify HR delivery and improve employee and manager experience.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken.
• 1-3 years of HR experience, ideally in an HR generalist or business partnering role.
• Strong stakeholder management, customer focus and business acumen.
• Analytical, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
• Workday knowledge is an advantage.
