Cloud Engineer – Hybrid (Beyoğlu)

About the role

Novadsa is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join its Istanbul team on a hybrid basis. You will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure that powers data platforms, analytics workloads, and modern applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate cloud resources on AWS, ensuring security, high‑availability and cost efficiency.
• Provision and configure services using infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Automate deployment pipelines and support CI/CD processes.
• Monitor performance, reliability and capacity, and optimise resources.
• Collaborate with software developers, data engineers and ML/AI specialists to integrate applications and data services.
• Document architecture decisions, participate in reviews and assist with incident response.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to work in cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to stay current with cloud technologies.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with AWS (or another major cloud provider).
• Linux system administration and performance tuning.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of networking, security, observability, high availability and disaster‑recovery best practices.
