Cluster Group & Banquet Sales Executive

About the role

The Cluster Group & Banquet Sales Executive will manage group and banquet enquiries for Rixos Tersane Istanbul, preparing proposals, following up leads and converting them into contracted business. The role focuses on building new opportunities, maintaining existing accounts and ensuring seamless execution of events.

Key responsibilities

• Handle group and banquet enquiries, prepare proposals aligned with pricing and strategy, and follow up to secure contracts.
• Generate new sales opportunities, nurture relationships with potential and existing clients, and re‑engage past accounts.
• Enter reservations accurately in hotel systems and communicate details to all relevant departments.
• Support guest satisfaction by monitoring arrivals, upselling hotel services and minimizing revenue loss from cancellations.
• Monitor Istanbul market events, competitor activity and market trends to identify sales opportunities.
• Prepare weekly forecasts, reports and analyses, and collaborate with sales, revenue, marketing and operations teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• Previous experience in group, banquet, MICE or corporate sales, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Strong commercial awareness, excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and events simultaneously and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with hotel PMS, CRM or sales systems.
