Head Waiter

About the role

The Head Waiter will ensure smooth daily floor operations, maintaining high service standards and delivering seamless, professional service to guests. Working closely with restaurant management, the kitchen, and the service team, this role supports coordination, discipline, and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily floor and service operations before, during, and after service.
• Ensure 7 Mehmet’s service standards are consistently followed throughout the guest journey.
• Organise assigned sections, support table planning, and guide waiters during service.
• Monitor service flow, respond proactively during high‑volume periods, and maintain communication between front‑of‑house and kitchen.
• Handle guest requests, resolve feedback calmly, and maintain strong menu knowledge for accurate recommendations.
• Support opening, closing, shift handover, onboarding, training, and development of service team members.

Required profile

• Solid experience in professional restaurant service, preferably as Head Waiter, Captain, or Senior Waiter.
• Background in premium, fine‑dining or high‑volume à la carte restaurants.
• Excellent guest relations, hospitality, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate and guide service teams effectively under demanding conditions.
• Strong attention to detail, professional presentation, and thorough menu/product knowledge.
• Commitment to teamwork, accountability, discipline, consistency, and service excellence.
