Commercial Operations Specialist

About the role
The Commercial Operations Specialist will manage the Turkey supplier base for raw and packaging materials, ensuring alignment with global and regional category strategies and delivering cost‑of‑goods‑sold (COGS) initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for raw and pack materials in line with global/regional category teams.
- Lead COGS saving projects, specification changes, and dual‑sourcing targets in collaboration with SQA and R&D.
- Negotiate with suppliers on price, quality, lead times, MOQ and payment terms to maximise value.
- Manage the full contracting process, including RFQs, tenders, PO issuance and intellectual property protection.
- Monitor commodity trends, provide market intelligence and support sustainability initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree with 1‑3 years of commercial or purchasing experience, preferably in FMCG.
- Fluent English and ability to work with internal stakeholders to ensure supply continuity.
Required skills
- Advanced user of SAP MM module.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
