Compliance and Risk Officer – Fintech/Digital Assets

About the role

Ceffu is seeking an experienced Compliance and Risk Officer to lead AML/CFT compliance and risk management for its digital‑asset custody platform. The role reports directly to the Executive Board and ensures adherence to Turkish regulations and global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the officially appointed MASAK Compliance Officer, overseeing AML/CFT programs, customer due diligence, transaction monitoring and suspicious transaction reporting.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework, assess operational, financial, IT and strategic risks, and produce regular risk reports for senior management and regulators.
• Liaise with MASAK, the Central Bank of Turkey and other authorities, file STRs and respond to regulatory inquiries.
• Lead compliance training, maintain audit‑ready documentation and coordinate cross‑functional risk controls.

Required profile

• Turkish citizen based in Istanbul, holder of a valid MASAK Compliance Officer License.
• At least 6 years AML/CFT compliance experience and 5 years risk‑management experience in a MASAK‑regulated financial institution.
• Deep knowledge of Turkish AML legislation, MASAK regulations and international digital‑asset compliance standards.
• Fluent in Turkish and strong command of English, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Proficiency with blockchain transaction analysis tools such as Chainalysis and TRM Labs.
• Familiarity with risk‑management frameworks (ISO 31000, COSO) and ability to assess IT‑system and cybersecurity risks.
