Continuous Improvement Partner

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Continuous Improvement Partner to drive the adoption and maturity of The Maersk Way across Turkey. Based in Istanbul, you will work onsite five days a week, partnering with senior leaders to solve operational challenges and deliver measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and maturity of The Maersk Way, coaching teams on Lean, Kaizen, A3 problem solving and root‑cause analysis.
• Act as a trusted advisor on operational excellence, collaborating with Operations, Customer Experience, Supply Chain, Finance, Product, Technology and Digital teams.
• Lead cross‑functional improvement projects that enhance efficiency, quality, customer experience and overall business performance.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, guide teams from problem definition through implementation, and ensure solutions are practical, scalable and sustainable.
• Coach leaders and practitioners on improvement methodologies, facilitate workshops, value‑stream mapping sessions and problem‑solving events.
• Partner with Digital, Automation and Analytics teams to design, implement and embed automation and data‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• 7‑10+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Lean Management or Business Transformation.
• Proven track record leading cross‑functional improvement initiatives with measurable impact.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation or manufacturing environments is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Lean and Continuous Improvement tools: Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, A3 Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, Standard Work, Daily Management Systems.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (preferred).
• Experience with digital, automation or analytics‑enabled transformation initiatives.
