About the role

We are looking for a Cook I to join our Food & Beverage team at Marriott International in Istanbul. The successful candidate will prepare a variety of meals, ensure food quality, and support kitchen operations in a fast‑paced hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Regulate oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperatures and monitor food logs.
  • Thaw frozen items, portion, arrange and garnish dishes, and prepare cold foods.
  • Communicate with the Chef and service staff about menu specials, excess inventory and out‑of‑stock items.
  • Maintain food safety and quality standards, and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling and employee coaching as needed.

Required profile

  • Technical, trade or vocational school degree related to culinary arts.
  • Minimum three years of relevant kitchen experience.
  • No prior supervisory experience required.
