Customer Service & Inventory Specialist

About the role

Chem2Go is seeking an experienced and highly organized Customer Service & Inventory Specialist to join its growing e‑commerce team. This remote position combines customer service, order management, and inventory monitoring, acting as a key link between customers, the warehouse, fulfillment, and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer phone calls professionally.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other service channels.
• Assist customers with product questions, orders, shipping, returns, exchanges, and general support.
• Follow up on unresolved issues and manage open cases.
• Monitor customer orders, identify shipping or fulfillment problems, and coordinate resolutions with internal teams.
• Track inventory levels, report low‑stock or out‑of‑stock items, and help maintain accurate stock information.
• Identify recurring service or operational issues and communicate them to management.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions, orders, and follow‑up activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service or support, including handling phone calls.
• Strong professional English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple customer requests and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated and reliable in a remote work environment.

Required skills

• Experience with Shopify and Shopify order management.
• Familiarity with Amazon or similar e‑commerce platforms.
• Knowledge of CRM and help‑desk software.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic reporting tools.
