Data Architect

About the role

OREDATA is seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and implement robust data solutions that support the organization’s analytical and operational goals. You will work closely with data engineers, scientists, and business analysts to shape the data landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, surveys, and system reviews to define business goals and data requirements.
• Create conceptual, logical, and physical data architecture models, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries.
• Design and implement data storage solutions such as data warehouses, data lakes, and operational data stores.
• Develop ETL processes to integrate and transform data from multiple sources.
• Establish data quality and security policies, including profiling, cleansing, access controls, and standards.
• Evaluate new data technologies for compatibility and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture roles.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving abilities, and effective communication skills.

Required skills

• SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical).
• Data warehouses and ETL processes.
• Big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure.
• Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD practices.
