Director, Communications & Crisis Management

About the role

The Director of Communications & Crisis Management leads internal and external communication programs across the Eurasia Middle East Operating Unit, ensuring alignment with global narratives and business objectives. This senior individual contributor guides crisis preparedness, community impact projects, and strategic messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project‑based communications synchronized with EME OU strategies and the global narrative.
• Create content and strategies that drive measurable business value through employee engagement and external outreach.
• Coordinate with global communications, marketing, bottling partners and other functions to maintain consistent messaging.
• Manage the OU’s Incident Management & Crisis Response (IMCR) protocol, acting as the PACS crisis management coordinator.
• Lead proactive external crisis handling, collaborating with local business leaders and legal/public affairs teams.
• Drive community impact initiatives, aligning projects with global frameworks and local priorities such as youth empowerment and water stewardship.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mass Communications or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven ability to lead integrated internal and external communications plans.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills for executive communications and strategic messaging.
