Faculty Position in Industrial Engineering

About the role

Koç University's Department of Industrial Engineering is seeking full-time faculty candidates for positions starting in Fall 2027. The department welcomes outstanding candidates across all areas of industrial engineering, preferably with a strong background in operations research, who can strengthen its research and education portfolio. Candidates at all ranks (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor) are encouraged to apply.

Required profile

• A PhD in industrial engineering, operations research, management sciences or a related field.
• Strong commitment to high-quality research and teaching excellence.
• Associate or Full Professor candidates should have a commensurate record of research publications.
• Interest in one or more of: data analytics, energy systems, financial engineering, healthcare, production and service systems, supply chain and logistics, or sustainable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an externally funded research program.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Attract and supervise doctoral students.
