Field Sales Senior Manager

About the role

DP World is seeking a Field Sales Senior Manager for its Freight Forwarding business in Istanbul, Turkey. The role focuses on developing new business, managing customer relationships, and driving revenue across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Project Cargo services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Project Cargo services.
• Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and uncover growth opportunities.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through proactive lead generation and qualification.
• Achieve assigned revenue and gross profit targets.
• Prepare, present, and follow up on customer quotations and commercial proposals.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and pipeline data in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Operations, and Customer Service teams to deliver competitive logistics solutions.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
• Manage and grow an assigned customer portfolio while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with DP World’s commercial policies, sales procedures, and reporting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or a service‑based industry.
• Field sales, business development, customer acquisition, and account management experience.
• Good understanding of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and logistics solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Customer‑oriented, results‑driven mindset with excellent planning and organizational abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a field‑based environment.

Required skills

• Experience with Salesforce CRM.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
