Finance Analyst (f/m/d)

About the role

As a Finance Analyst in Turkey, you will support the local business while collaborating with Finance teams across the region. This hands‑on position combines financial controlling, FP&A, and business support, acting as the key Finance contact in Istanbul.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports, analyse performance against budget, forecast and prior year, and identify variances, risks and opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and ad‑hoc analyses.
• Coordinate with external accounting provider to ensure smooth month‑end closing.
• Review accounting information, reconciliations, accruals and intercompany balances.
• Handle day‑to‑day finance activities such as cash monitoring, banking, payments, receivables and expenses.
• Partner with Sales and other stakeholders to provide financial insights for commercial decisions.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax advisers and other external parties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls and approvals.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes, reporting and systems.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial or commercial controlling or similar finance role.
• Solid experience in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and month‑end closing processes.
• Fluent in Turkish and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, organisational skills and ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• High ownership, reliability, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP and reporting systems (preferred).
