About the role
OPmobility is looking for a Finance Business Partner to support plant management in achieving financial and operational targets. The role combines controlling, budgeting and performance analysis for a manufacturing site within the global mobility industry.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a Finance Business Partner, supporting plant management and leadership in meeting financial and operational goals.
- Lead monthly closing processes and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in line with corporate policies and IFRS.
- Prepare monthly management reports with detailed analyses of plant performance, profitability, productivity and cost drivers.
- Drive the annual budget, rolling forecast and long‑term planning for the manufacturing site.
- Analyze variances against budget, forecast and prior‑year results, identifying risks, opportunities and corrective actions.
- Monitor and optimise manufacturing costs, including labour, overheads, raw materials and inventory performance.
- Develop and track key operational KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, yield, scrap, inventory levels and working capital.
- Evaluate capital‑expenditure projects, prepare financial business cases and perform post‑investment assessments.
- Support continuous‑improvement and cost‑saving initiatives through robust financial analysis.
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with company policies and financial‑governance requirements.
- Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and Commercial teams to improve overall business performance and profitability.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Controlling, Finance Business Partnering, Plant Controlling or FP&A within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes.
- Proven experience in cost accounting, inventory management and manufacturing KPI analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and business‑partnering capabilities.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and support decision‑making at the executive level.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Strong command of MS Office applications.
