Financial Reporting Specialist

About the role

A leading international manufacturer of wind turbines, present in several countries, is looking for a Financial Reporting Specialist for its Istanbul office. You will support the finance team with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, closing and consolidation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in line with IFRS standards.
• Coordinate monthly closing and make sure all reporting deadlines are met.
• Review general ledger entries and carry out account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reports.
• Support consolidation and reporting with group companies and regional finance teams.
• Contribute to management reporting, budgeting and forecasting through financial analysis.
• Assist internal and external audits and monitor changes in accounting policies and IFRS requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in financial reporting, auditing or accounting.
• Previous experience in a Big Four audit department is preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and hands-on financial reporting experience.
• Experience in monthly closing, general ledger management and P&L reporting.
• Advanced Excel and strong knowledge of SAP.
• Analytical thinking, problem solving, communication and attention to detail.
