Financial Specialist – Cost Analysis & Reporting

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Specialist to support our client, a leading multinational, in managing production costs and profitability. The role focuses on calculating costs, preparing profitability reports, and ensuring sales contracts are financially viable. The specialist will work independently in Mersin, collaborating with sales and management.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate production costs, stock values, and COGS (both nominal and hyperinflation‑adjusted).
• Prepare profitability reports by product, customer, and combined product‑customer segments.
• Compare actual production costs and component costs against budgeted estimates for fruits and BOM materials.
• Investigate and report variances exceeding 5%, notifying sales or management as needed.
• Perform forward‑looking cost and sales calculations to confirm contract profitability before procurement.
• Monitor stock quantities, prices, open contract prices, and identify stock without contracts.
• Analyze rework costs, determine root causes, and report findings.
• Manage and report on the gross profit cycle.
• Proactively generate and share reports with management without waiting for requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in finance, cost analysis, or related roles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Residency in Mersin.
