Fire & Life Safety Manager

About the role

The Fire & Life Safety Manager ensures that all fire and safety equipment is maintained, evacuation plans are robust, and safety regulations are strictly enforced within the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular fire safety inspections and ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
• Develop and maintain evacuation plans and train staff on fire safety procedures.
• Enforce safety codes, investigate violations, and apply disciplinary actions when needed.
• Support engineering projects through planning, supervision, and execution.
• Assist with audit and training programmes related to fire safety.

Required profile

• Passion for engineering and a proactive attitude.
• In‑depth knowledge of fire safety codes and regulations.
• Experience as a Duty Engineer or equivalent in a hotel environment.
• Diploma or certificate in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical, Marine Engineering or related field.
• Fluent in English and the local language.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
• Relevant fire investigation certification.
