First Choice & Continuous Improvement Specialist

Join DHL eCommerce’s headquarters in Istanbul as a First Choice & Continuous Improvement Specialist. You will drive a customer‑centric culture and operational excellence across Turkey, supporting the company’s commitment to world‑class service.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and embed the DHL First Choice culture by encouraging customer‑focused thinking and operational excellence.
• Coordinate and execute First Choice and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, productivity and customer experience.
• Assist business functions in applying First Choice principles, Lean methodologies and structured problem‑solving tools such as DMAIC, A3 and Root Cause Analysis.
• Facilitate Gemba walks, Kaizen activities, performance dialogues and root‑cause workshops to identify waste and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor, analyse and report key performance indicators related to service performance, customer satisfaction, productivity and quality, providing data‑driven insights.
• Prepare improvement analyses, action plans, presentations and progress reports while tracking implementation effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and execute process improvement projects.
• Share best practices, lessons learned and standardized approaches across teams.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and align with regional and global First Choice communities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; Black Belt considered an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in continuous improvement, Lean, or related fields.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma methodology.
• DMAIC, A3 and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques.
• Kaizen and Gemba walk facilitation.
• Data analysis and KPI monitoring.
• Presentation and reporting skills.
