FP&A Team Lead

About the role

World Business Lenders is seeking a hands‑on FP&A Team Lead to own a defined area within the FP&A function. This remote contract role works standard Eastern Time hours and supports corporate planning, performance, portfolio, and capital forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, prioritize and coordinate daily work of FP&A Analysts, providing coaching and feedback.
• Own recurring models, forecasts, analyses and reporting for the assigned functional area.
• Review financial models for accuracy, consistency and transparency, reconciling outputs to source data.
• Analyze results, identify material drivers, challenge assumptions and develop clear management explanations.
• Maintain documentation, version control and process automation for key models and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Data Analytics or related field.
• Five or more years of progressive FP&A, financial modeling or related finance experience.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring analysts.
• Strong understanding of income statement, balance sheet and cash‑flow statement; ability to build three‑statement models from scratch.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
