Front Desk Agent

About the role

La Quinta by Wyndham Istanbul Kartal is seeking a professional, friendly, and guest‑focused Front Desk Agent to join its Front Office team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth, memorable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and handle check‑in/check‑out procedures accurately.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, local attractions, and transportation.
• Manage room assignments, reservations, and guest data in the hotel system.
• Process payments, deposits, and other front‑desk transactions.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations, F&B, and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Monitor arrivals, departures, special requests, and VIP guests.
• Promote Wyndham Rewards membership and hotel services when appropriate.
• Handle telephone calls, emails, and other guest communications professionally.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hotel front office or guest services role (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑oriented mindset.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure, including weekends and public holidays.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Required skills

• Familiarity with hotel PMS systems (advantage).
