Group Reporting Specialist

About the role

ING is looking for a Group Reporting Specialist for its Financial Accounting and Reporting Unit at the Maslak headquarters. The role covers preparing financial statements and group reporting, ensuring an effective and accurate financial accounting and reporting process, and keeping smooth communication with Group Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the team in the month-end financial statements closing process
• Manage shareholder requirements related to the financial statements
• Follow up IFRS updates and other international and local regulatory requirements to ensure accurate reporting
• Direct international standard updates, analyse their effects and provide guidance on IFRS application
• Take part in developing regulatory and shareholder reports, and initiate system changes to comply with regulation and reporting standard changes
• Review group reporting schedules
• Coordinate with independent auditors at the end of each period to complete the quarterly reconciliation on time

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Administrative Sciences, Economics or Engineering)
• At least 2 years of experience in audit, reporting or financial planning within the banking sector
• Experience in an audit or consultancy firm and in IFRS reporting is a plus
• Good understanding of BRSA and IFRS reporting
• Excellent verbal and written English and Turkish

Required skills

• Knowledge of MS Office and SQL (knowledge of robotics is a plus)
• Analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
