Head of Customer Service & Logistics

About the role

Omya, a global leader in industrial minerals, is looking for a Head of Customer Service & Logistics to join its team in Turkey. The role combines leadership of the customer service function with oversight of logistics and order processing, ensuring high service quality and strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Customer Service function, driving efficient processes and a strong customer focus.
• Monitor performance through KPIs, identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate order processing, claim management and customer credit processes in collaboration with relevant functions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a key interface between sales, operations and internal stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, systems and ways of working while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Customer Service, Logistics, Transportation or a related area.
• Proven experience in team management and people development.
• Strong customer orientation with excellent communication, collaboration and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English and Turkish; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems and order processing.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
