Hotel General Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead a prestigious luxury resort in Turkey's prime coastal destination. The role oversees all operational areas, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and profitable performance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all aspects of hotel operation meet customer satisfaction standards, including cleanliness, maintenance, security, staff professionalism, and service.
• Collaborate with functional leaders of Restaurants, Bars & Events, Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Wellness & Spa to align manpower, talent development, and compensation.
• Oversee marketing initiatives to raise brand awareness, develop campaigns, and drive new and repeat guest bookings.
• Monitor staff performance against company standards and manage proactive sales activities to maximize revenue.
• Provide strategic guidance to the Executive Committee, uphold service standards, and ensure compliance with group, audit, and legislative requirements.
• Review and manage budgets and forecasts to optimize business performance.
• Ensure proper functioning of hotel systems, equipment, facilities, and maintenance of décor and furniture.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years experience in established resort or club hotels, with proven international luxury hotel management.
• At least 5 years experience as a full‑service General Manager.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret guest service reports and market trends.
• Demonstrated business acumen and strategic thinking in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment.
• Ability to lead change and thrive in an ever‑changing hospitality market.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
