About the role
The Procurement Directorate seeks an Import Specialist to manage international freight, customs operations and logistics for Nuh Çimento in Kocaeli, Turkey.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct international freight and customs operations, coordinating land, sea, air and project transportation.
- Plan efficient, cost‑effective import routes and determine optimal logistics models.
- Prepare and coordinate contracts for logistics, spot purchases and insurance.
- Follow up customs procedures with authorities and obtain required import permits.
- Oversee the C‑type bonded warehouse and inventory.
- Coordinate procurement contracts and tenders for solid fuels and prepare reports for the Board.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, international trade and transportation.
- Strong knowledge of import, logistics and supply‑chain processes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with SAP MM module.
