Indirect Purchasing Assistant – Smart Start (Machine Components & Services)

About the role

Join Bosch's Smart Start program as an Indirect Purchasing Assistant, supporting the procurement of machine components and services. This position offers hands‑on experience in a global industrial leader while contributing to sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Category, Sourcing and Demand Managers in purchasing machine components and services.
• Support CO₂‑reduction projects with suppliers.
• Prepare and follow up on requests for quotations and tender documentation.
• Contribute to special projects and cost‑saving activities.
• Help prepare and execute supplier negotiations.
• Resolve complex problems with lasting solutions.
• Coordinate operational tasks with internal customers.
• Maintain supplier communication and update supplier information using digital tools.

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th year Bachelor or Master student in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, Public Relations or related fields.
• Fluent in English (excellent written and spoken).
• Available to work at least three days per week for a minimum of 11 months (preferably 18 months).
• Residing in Bursa.
• Strong coordination, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
