Internal Audit Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Audit Specialist to lead risk‑based audit engagements across financial, commercial and operational processes. The role focuses on identifying root causes, uncovering value‑creation opportunities and strengthening our control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audit missions using a risk‑based approach, covering finance, commercial and operational areas.
• Assess key risks, evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Apply data‑analytics techniques to detect anomalies, potential fraud indicators and emerging risks.
• Conduct fraud prevention, detection and investigation activities.
• Support the development and rollout of technology‑enabled audit methodologies.
• Translate audit findings into actionable insights, present results to stakeholders and monitor implementation of agreed actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, internal control or external audit.
• Strong financial acumen, analytical thinking and business insight.
• Solid knowledge of risk management, internal controls, process analysis and fraud risk assessment.
• Ability to analyze data, identify key risk indicators, trends and anomalies.
• Excellent judgment, problem‑solving, communication and reporting skills.
