Internal Control & Governance Specialist

About the role

Rönesans Enerji is seeking an Internal Control & Governance Specialist to join its Istanbul Head Office. You will help identify risks, design control frameworks, and support audit and governance activities across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Identify key risks and contribute to internal control framework design and implementation.
• Analyze, challenge, and improve internal processes and policies, ensuring alignment with actual practices.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and Operations, facilitating stakeholder meetings and driving action‑plan execution.
• Perform walkthroughs, test key controls, track remediation actions, and support internal and external audits.
• Prepare clear reports for senior management and communicate findings, risks, and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Audit, Business or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in internal audit, internal control or risk management; big‑4 or international experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of governance and control frameworks, excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proactive, organized, and able to follow up on actions to completion.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• SAP (knowledge of procurement tools such as Ariba is a plus).
