IT Support Technician (Onsite) - On Call / Backfill

About the role

Itproposal is looking for reliable, customer-focused backfill IT support technicians to provide onsite technical support for its enterprise clients in Şişli, Istanbul. The work is flexible and project-based, suitable for IT professionals, freelancers or technicians who want to supplement their income while working with international organisations. Start date is ASAP.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop and laptop support for end users.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows operating systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Support Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications.
• Configure printers, scanners and other peripherals.
• Perform hardware replacements and equipment installations.
• Set up workstations for new employees.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Document completed work accurately.

Required profile

• 1+ year of IT support, help desk or desktop support experience.
• Ability to work independently onsite and deliver good customer service.
• English communication skills, written and spoken.
• Preferred: CompTIA A+, Google IT Support, Microsoft or similar certification; corporate IT experience; familiarity with Active Directory and basic user administration.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of 500 Turkish Lira.
• Food allowance of 300 Turkish Lira per day worked and a travel allowance.
