Marketing Specialist I – Customer Engagement & Insights

About the role

We are seeking a customer‑focused, commercially minded marketing professional to join IFF’s Taste Business. The role will act as a strategic bridge between commercial, category marketing, creative, design, innovation teams and customers, turning market intelligence and consumer insights into valuable experiences that drive growth in the Turkish market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of customer engagement activities, innovation days, workshops, product showcases, and technical seminars.
• Develop compelling customer presentations, demonstrations, tasting sessions, and trend‑sharing experiences that inspire growth.
• Transform consumer, market, and category insights into actionable business opportunities and thought leadership.
• Partner closely with commercial teams to identify, develop, and track opportunities generated through customer engagements.
• Collaborate with Creative & Design, Technical, and Innovation teams to deliver impactful customer experiences and innovation storytelling.
• Support account planning, customer growth reviews, and the identification of white‑space opportunities across categories and channels.
• Coordinate trade shows, industry events, and customer‑facing activities to maximize engagement and lead generation.
• Drive project execution excellence through effective cross‑functional collaboration, activity tracking, and KPI reporting.
• Strengthen IFF's market presence by ensuring every customer interaction reflects our innovation capabilities and value proposition.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Science, Consumer Science, or a related field.
• 1‑5 years of experience in marketing, consumer insights, category management, customer marketing, or commercial support.
• Experience within the food, beverage, ingredients, flavors, FMCG, or B2B sectors is highly preferred.
• Strong presentation skills.
